Mr. Jeffrey Maynard graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a
Master of Arts in Teaching. He also has a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from
Pittsburg State University. He received a degree in Vocal Performance from
Gordon College and also studied at Boston Conservatory of music. Jeffrey taught
at Nerinx Hall High School for nine years in St. Louis as well as singing
professionally with St. Louis Symphony Chorus for ten years. Mr. Maynard has
won multiple awards both at the state and national levels with his choruses at
Nerinx HS. In the summer of 2000 his Select Women’s Chorus toured Germany,
Austria, and Italy in a Cathedral Concert Tour. Mr. Maynard also conducted the
New York City Men’s Chorus for four years in NYC at Carnegie Hall and Avery
Fischer Halls. Jeffrey will be teaching this summer at the UNC Music Camp this
July.
